Neighborhood Family Center has been a pillar of hope and connection for families in Long Beach and beyond since 1980. Our mission centers on creating a nurturing environment where every voice matters and each person can find encouragement to grow. As a Black- and female-owned community center, our roots run deep in representation, understanding, and culturally sensitive support. Families and individuals often turn to us for guidance in challenging times or when seeking to strengthen themselves for the future. Each service is delivered with compassion and respect, focusing on real solutions that suit each family's circumstances. Every member of our team brings experience in helping families overcome barriers to wellness, and many families return or recommend us for the caring, nonjudgmental approach they receive.
